How we met

It all started when Ilias was looking for a crew for a sailboat cruise in the Ionian sea in July 2017. Dimitris showed up late and worn out in Lefkada. “How do you take your coffee?” “Black” he said, downing half of her freddo espresso to perk himself up.
Scene 2:
The first date
November 10, 2017
Valia arrived in Copenhagen for the first time. Dimitris took her to Peders – what is now our favorite craft beer spot in Copenhagen.
Scene 3:
The Move
February 17, 2020
Valia’s boxes arrived just a few days before the borders closed, so we went from a long-distance relationship to being in quarantine together. That went surprisingly well…
Scene 4:
Our own Danish home
October 31, 2023
Having lived in two different apartments in Copenhagen, we decided it was time to move again. In the summer of 2023, we said “yes” to the house we liked. Just before winter hit, we got the keys to our new home.

The wedding
May 31, 2025
Help us bring this scene to life! We’ll begin at the church, then celebrate with a toast over a delicious meal by the sea – an adults affair. Who knows… we might just find ourselves dancing a little!
